July product update: the verbatim chronology

July’s update added the verbatim chronology: a report section assembled in code from hash-verified extracts of the source records, with no generative drafting. Each entry is a page-cited quotation or transcription whose integrity is re-checked against the source at assembly time.

The integrity check operates on the individual extract. Each citation stores a cryptographic hash of the exact source passage it points to; at assembly the passage is re-read from the stored document text and the hash recomputed before the extract is allowed into the table. An extract that cannot be re-verified is never presented as a quotation.

In the same month, uploaded files began to be quarantined until cleared by malware scanning, and organisations gained secure passwordless viewer access for demonstration cases.
