How we approach accessibility across everything at clinlexis.co.uk.
Our commitment
ClinLexis is committed to making its website and platform accessible to as many people as possible, and to conforming with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Accessibility is considered as part of our design and development process, and we are working towards formal assessment of the platform against WCAG 2.2 AA.
What we have in place
- Interactive controls carry ARIA roles and labels for assistive technologies.
- Keyboard access is supported across interactive workflows, including the document viewer and review controls.
- Status and severity indicators use colour together with icons and text, not colour alone.
- Text size in the assistant interface is user-adjustable, and the interface supports light and dark themes.
- Demo and tutorial videos include subtitles and captions with accessible, labelled controls.
- The platform is fully usable with a standard browser, with no plugins or local installation.
Conformance status and plan
The platform is built to be accessible, and we are committed to a formal assessment against WCAG 2.2 AA: completing it, remediating anything it identifies, and updating this statement with the findings. Until the assessment concludes we describe our status as working towards WCAG 2.2 AA conformance. This statement is reviewed at least annually.
